CTS#130

Hi everyone!!!

Nearly cut-off time over at the CAS(E) this Sketch Blog for this week's sketch.
Here's the sketch:

and my card:

For my card I've used Bundled Sage, Broken China, Stormy Sky and Walnut Stain DI's.
The rose and leaves stamps are from PTI.  Lines stamp from Verve.
Added some ink splatters and rounded it off with three black plastic dots.
Afrikaans sentiment saying: 'Congratulations'.

With my new MISTI it was so easy to do this one layer!!!!  So glad I decided to get one!!!!

Will be doing my weekly blogvisits tonight and tomorrow.  Will pop in at you all and leave some luv!!!

Thanks for visiting!!!
Have a wonderful day!!!!

Absolutely stunning card--I so love the depth and dimension you are able to get on that rose. Gosh, am I truly the only stamper around without a Misti?

Gosh, golly, darn....this is so pretty! I adore your design, the few splatters of ink and the gorgeous flower! But what I really, really love is the gorgeous bit of blended ink and the stripes and dots at the bottom of your card which create fabulous 'movement'!

As always - a marvelous interpretation of the sketch inspiration. Except I love yours better, especially the way you've done the bottom treatment. This is a beautiful layered rose, and liked very much the lines at the edges. So happy you are enjoying the MISTI. When you need it, it really comes in handy. Thanks for all your recent visits. Wish I could send a little of the heat to warm up your cold craftroom. Yep, stay by the fire, with a good book or whatever craft comes to hand. When it warms up, you can be in the room once more! TFS & Hugs

Petra, I stared at this card for a long moment and wasn't able to believe that there is isn't any real layers... Stunning one-layer card with a lot of dimension!! Great card, my friend!

Wat een prachtig kaartje Petra. Super leuk de Zuid-Afrikaanse teksten, als Nederlander kan ik daar echt van genieten.

Mooie stijl heb je. x

Ahh Petra I think Rosemary comment says it all . You always interpret sketches so well and create such beautiful designs. Well done and yes it is cold in Sedgefield and rainy but I have just seen the sun come out so who knows what the rest of the day will bring.

Oh pretty!! I love the bottom portion of the white piece and the angles. I am so jealous of your MISTI! It's on my list!

This is so gorgeous, and I cannot believe it is one layer. So much depth, I really thought that the white layer was separate from the blue below. I finally got a Misti (last one on earth, I know), and you have inspired me to break out my PTI roses to see if I can finally get them to stamp properly.
